I do enjoy passing the B&M factory on the way to Tenant's Harbor.

I do too.

When I was a kid, I had a friend whose father worked for the B & M Railroad. I wondered why a railroad was selling beans. There were other days when I wondered why a bean company was operating a railroad. In my defense, I was still young enough to believe in the tooth fairy.

Although I generally make my own baked beans, I do like to have some B&M on hand if time runs short. I was going crazy finding them in AL until I went into a smallish local grocery store called Renfroe’s. There were jars and jars (not even cans!) sitting on the shelf and I crammed them into my cart. I now have a supply for the winter, lol.
