Mifsud appears to be dodging the bullet now. We should not assume that Mifsud fully understood the purpose of his role in Spygate; he was recruited {I believe by Stefan Halper} to plant information on Papadopoulos... more than that we cannot accuse him of - by my understanding. He was forced to 'disappear' because he could establish that the international Spygate Operation did not start in July of 2016 but in the Spring of that year! Given that, it is quite possible that Trump was NOT the only intended target; perhaps also Ted Cruz and others, as Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne indicated.
It seems doubtful that Mifsud would know {need to know} that the effort was to justify using the Steele Dossier to obtain FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. Obviously Hillary was desperate to establish that the Russians interfered in the elections and cost her her rightful inheritance. The hack of the DNC server by the Russians became quintessential to that scenario.
Perhaps Brennan is the mastermind behind all this; I have my doubts - although it seems to have been a poorly conceived operation. I continue to suspect Sid Blumenthal, not that it much matters. Those implementing the plan will hopefully have to answer for their individual actions.

Well, eventually, yes, probably, but not before a very public/publicized trial for sedition (or whatever the constitutional lawyers determine he should be tried for). The people of this country need to know just how low the dems/deep state are, the disdain they have for the Constitution and the People, and the lengths they will go to to get what they want.
.………..I’ve been thinking lately that the feds won’t prosecute anybody in the collusion, Ben Ghazi, Hillary email scandals unless they are white males. Brennan being the first, then Comey, then Strozk and so on.
Hillary Clinton’s email server was freaking wide open on the internet.
Any intelligence agency that didn’t ‘pown’ that server is too freaking incompetent to be allowed to continue to exist. That would include internal as well as external agencies.
