Elizabeth Warren apologized today for her persistent and false claim that she’s part Indian. An apology was due, in fact it was overdue.
However, this was a simpering, cloying performance, both in manner and in substance.
Warren apologized for her “mistake” and for the “harm she has caused.”
What harm is that? Who was injured because Warren lied about being part Indian? No one, except perhaps a few law professors who may have lost out on jobs because certain law schools wanted to say they had an Indian prof on board.
Warren said her claim of Indian status caused “confusion” about what it means to be a tribal citizen. “Tribes and only tribes” determine tribal citizenship, she now says.
But no one was ever confused about this. Thus, there was no need for Warren to apologize for causing harm or confusion.
Warren owed an apology because she lied, and maintained her lie for decades in order to advance her career. Her apology didn’t acknowledge the lie.
Warren tried to cover up the evasiveness of her apology with the abjectness of her tone. Pathetic.

‘Rats never apologize and they always equivocate. That’s how we get gems like “I voted for it...before I voted against it”, and “Ah smoked pot, but Ah didn’t inhale”.

Warren is the scariest. I could see her signing executive orders for the death camps the left wants.

And making it sound utterly moral, logical, and necessary.
Is this really a type of person we want as POTUS?
Too bad people can’t sue her to recover all of her ill gotten gains for claiming she was an Indian.
The old SCTV used to make fun of Richard Harris’ acting style, back when that was a relevant thing. The actor playing Harris would speak in this sotto voce tone where the audience couldn’t hear him, or he would bellow his lines to where they would complain that it was too loud. They called out for a “middle voice” which confused the Harris actor.
Warren, like Hillary, also has no middle voice. If they complain about “simpering, cloying”, then the alternative is screeching and grating.

I can assure you, she may possibly have .01 percent Indian blood (as we all may have) but you cannot find even .00001 intelligence.
Then, when the lie was exposed, "Those were substandard plans!"

She misrepresented herself in applying for grants/scoholarships/admission. Shouldn’t she be penalized for that?
