Getting off "The Rez" is just about the smartest thing he could possibly have done. My limited experience with "The Rez", both in USA and Canada, suggests that it's a lousy place to raise your kids.

From what I've heard, you're right. I'm glad the grand-kids are a long way from the reservation. They now live a couple doors up the street from us and are being home-schooled. My wife tutors a couple of them.

I've heard some pretty frightening things about life on Indian reservations. I'm glad my teen-age grandchildren are out of there.
