There is a large police presence and citizens are advised to avoid the area. Several blocks around the scene have been cordoned off. Most of North Philadelphia is in gridlock due to the police presence.

I grew up in Philadelphia. The poorly named Nicetown is not a nice area.
I see they’ve hyphenated the name with Tioga, which is also a bad area.
Glad the hospital was close by. This is apparently an ongoing situation with the shooter now barricaded. Hope they can take him out before any more officers or residents are hurt.
The liberal rats that control these cities for decades have created this
See, see! Trump and them mofo racist tweets again!
Philly is Dem controlled for as long as I have been alive, and I’m 64.........
Shots fired!
Hope the hospital is a trauma center..........
There’s about 60 cops there...
The MSM will blame Trump...............
The last time they had a Republican mayor was 1952.
The police should leave drug dealers alone! /s!
Nice town?
Looks like the entire Philadelphia police force is on the scene. Who is guarding the rest of the city? This entire scene is ridiculous. They don’t need that many police to subdue the suspect.
Acting like those watching the broadcast are completely ignorant. Do I need to define it further for you?
SWAT inside.
The Democrats took over Philadelphia from the Republicans in 1951.
...and somewhere nearby a mother hits the pipe before turning on the news.
