I tease the rest of my family who left staten island for NJ and Westchester and said they try to act more like WASPs now than WOPs :)

It’s a compliment. If it was true.

But they’re WOPs and always will be. At least I’m proud to show it :)

They’re all 2nd generation just like me but they try too act like their ancestors came off the Mayflower :)

Now my NIECES and NEPHEWS, only a few have Italian looks and none could be picked out of a lineup as WOPs.

I could be picked out of a lineup as a WOP in the dark :)
