Well I’ve never heard of a rivet popping off and causing a fatality ymmv.
From my recollection reading these stories and speculations on FR indicated Ron Brown was murdered execution style with a .45 round straight down through the top of his skull to minimize bleeding out. Then placed on the plane with explicit instructions to the stewardesses not to disturb the VIP who is just sleeping allegedly.
Besides the multiple deaths on the plane sent off course and into a cliff by false radio beacons, there was also a stewardess who survived the plane crash but died before the helicopter ambulance could get her to the hospital. She had bled out due to a surgical cut to the left femoral artery.
The guy who turned off his radio beacon was bribed and later also found dead by suicide. And the 2 US coroners who autopsied Mr. Brown’s body noting a .45 caliber hole in the top of his skull - well suffice to say these 2 coroners also did not survive.
The list is way far about 46...
or maybe a rivet is just a rivet causing a divot in someone’s skull and a plane crash is just another accident.

I have seen X-rays of people with the knobs of car radios embedded in their skulls after an automobile crash. Imagine the force caused by a failed rivet (A little less than 1/2 an inch diameter or .45 caliber) in a plane crash. Yes, they were killed by a radio knob in a head-on collision with each car going 60 mph. Imagine a plane crashing at over 200mph.
Vince Foster and most of the others belong on that list. Ron Brown died in a lane crash. (Perhaps the Clinton’s just brought down the whole plane but they didn’t shoot him first. What would be the point in that?)
I wondered whether an assassin would get on a plane that was going to have an accident. Shooting Brown before takeoff solves that problem, but leads to further questions.
Placed on the plane after shooting? Seems unlikely. Shot while seated? Plausible.
Someone seated next to him? Maybe it wasn’t going to be occupied.
Plane hit mountain while landing, IIRC. If so, a long time to hope nobody bothered the VIP.
Assassin left plane after shooting? This was before 9.11, so plausible.
