In the true confessions department, I on had to spend 45 minutes behind bars in a county lockup. Never you mind just how this happened! (It was all just a misunderstanding officer! Really, I swear it!) The intake process involved removing my tie, my belt, shoes, my wristwatch, andin what struck me as the most unnecessary stepeven my wedding ring. There wasnt even toilet paper in the cell that I could attempt to swallow if I wanted to try to choke myself or throw spitwads at another cell dweller (who were all passed out in any case).
If a local county lockup can take these kind of precautions against self-harm, it beggars belief that a federal facility, guarding the most high-profile criminal in the country just now, couldnt prevent a hanging. This stinks.
Attorney General Barr is asking for an FBI investigation and and Inspector General investigation. Why an IG investigation, too? Maybe he doesnt trust the Clinton-friendly FBI? (On the other hand, if this IG report takes as long as most of them do to finish, well be dead from global warming before we see it.)

Billionaires always have lawyers.
But...but...the FBI is investigating... How can you say that!
Good point.
His lawyer’s mama didn’t raise no fools. He is hoping that they will forget about him.
NOTHING is beneath the Democrats and the Deep State.
I agree with that.
Oh there will be an ongoing investigation alright. That’s why they won’t be able to answer any questions. Ongoing investigation don’t you know. Wink, wink
Does atty client privilege survive the death of the client?
There could be no plead fifth...
I think it does.
Are you joking?
He’s probably looking at Google right now to find out which countries don’t extradite to the U.S.
Highly incompetent or complicit in the act
From experience at least 1 or 2 jail staff have to be in on this., That is the week link., If they took money they are susceptible to testify, but they may not survive the far.
When the cameras break down and you have high profile suicide risk, you put an office outside the cell 24/7 in visual contact with the prisoner. Anything less was a serious security violation, incompetence or complicit. Those are the choices.
Who benefits? Well the clintons, bout also a dozen other powerful people.
In that case someone will at least get hollered at.
No doubt, it will go into their Permanent Record. No Employee of the Year bonus this Christmas...
OFFICER outside the cell
Kind of disagree with that theory.
Conspiracy theories pose a new domestic terrorism threat, according to a secret FBI document
It’s like we’re living in a banana republic.
You might want to look up Sharyl Attkisson (former CBS reporter) who’s latest book explains that the federal government, though the CIA, actually promulgated the concept and accepted usage of the term “conspiracy theory” to knock down interfering inquires in the 1950 and through the Kennedy assassination period.
Somewhat like the climate post Poland’s invasion turned the term “appeasement” from normal connotation into total negative connotation and fixed it forever on Chamberlain, once you or your beliefs are called a “conspiracy theory” you are discounted.
IF all that happened, they could have killed him, instead of switching .. all the same.. to protect someone who does not want to be named by him.
Didn’t he know it was dangerous to “know” the clintons.
they also coined the term “plausible deniability.”
