Despite everything you have to feel a bit for the parents losing 2 kids like this. On another note, this shooting will drop quickly from the news. Connor Betts voted democrat in the few elections he voted in.

The sad fact is, “see something, say something” isn’t working. The FBI is notorious for being nonchalant and unresponsive about reports to them. You hear about it all the time. In fact, I have personal experience with their lackadaisical attitude when I reported to them an incident shortly after 911.
I’m wondering why Betts was refused admission to the bar. He was a known troublemaker? If so, nothing ever serious enough to have him arrested. Intoxicated? Acting weird or threatening?
That's why they have "Watch Lists" [though we don't hear so much about them anymore].

we live in an open-carry state; just recently, some
teen-ager has been seen walking in our neighborhood with
a shotgun slung over his shoulder.... police called by
several residents of our street and adjacent streets...
They stopped this guy; ascertained that his gun was
not loaded; and sent him on his merry way...they told
us they cannot legally do ANYTHING about this...he has
every legal right to open-carry his weapon..you think
our neighborhood is a bit freaked out about this..???
all this immature nit-wit is doing is making all of us
legal gun owners who never open-carry and those few
who do open-carry look like ultra right-wing loons..
I wonder how many studies the CIA and FBI and other alphabet agencies have done on how to target loose cannons and push them to act.
Just by turning up the rhetoric.
