Didn’t change anything after Tiananmen. People know what happened there and turn a blind eye.

The slaughter of over 10,000 in Beijing is mostly forgotten now. And the slaughter of another 10,000 in HK will create a stir, then like the last time be largely forgotten. The Party will go on - there is no other choice when heavy weapons are used against the unarmed populace - with the dead are disappeared
