In a court filing, prosecutors with the southern district of New York argued that the materials could “affect the privacy and confidentiality of individuals … [and that] would impede, if prematurely disclosed, the government’s ongoing investigation of uncharged individuals”.
As far as I can tell, the judge was not named.

On the surface this may look like a cover up. In fact, there is so much beneath the surface that the law must ferret it out. No need to stick our noses into the filth, much as we might “enjoy” it.

They are being kept secret to PROTECT these scumbags. Keeping them secret allows them to select a few people (looking for anyone remotely associated with Trump, no doubt) without compromising people connected to power.
