The statement of the apparition is crystal clear. There were no clarifying statements that you had to be "in a state of grace" or anything like that. That is Roman Catholic spin attempting to clean this mess up.

IF anyone is wearing this idol and believing this apparition, and there are Roman Catholics who admit they're doing this, they have departed the true Gospel for another gospel, which is to say a false one.
