This was in refutation to another poster who said, if a spirit lies, it cannot be from God.
Yet here is a word-for-word case, from Scripture, of a spirit telling God it's going to lie, and God telling it to do so, because such will accomplish God's will, of getting Ahab to fall in battle.
Which does not make God a liar, but directly and literally and Scripturally refutes the poster's contention.
Again, I seriously suggest you re-read the section again.

It appears that the "Scriptura" was "Sola" enough when it was just the OLD TESTEMENT; I wonder why ADDING the NEW TESTEMENT made it unreliable?

Notice:
the request was denied to send Lazarus to the rich man's house to warn his brothers
there was never any conversation between those who've departed and those still on earth
the man's brothers were not listening to Moses and the Prophets....they weren't reading Scripture
as they weren't doing this they wouldn't believe anyone who rose from the dead...that is Christ.
