Perplexed viewers are questioning Robert Mueller's 'confused' demeanor as he testifies in front of Congress.
The special counsel faced members of the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees on Wednesday morning.
Viewers reacting on social media have noticed that Mueller appeared to stumble at multiple points.
'Robert Mueller comes across as a doddering old fool with a questionable moral compass based on situational ethics who should never have been appointed in the first place based on reduced mental capacity,' one person tweeted.
'Mueller is acting like he doesn't know what's going on,' another wrote. 'He's acting like a confused old man.'
Some are saying the wobbly performance is a delaying tactic on the part of the special counsel to frustrate Republican committee members determined to discredit findings that are damaging to President Donald Trump.
When it came to questions at the core of the report, Mueller delivered firm answers without hesitation.
Asked whether Trump had been exonerated or if he could be charged with obstruction of justice when he leaves office, Mueller replied: 'No' and 'Yes' respectively.

Interesting observation. Now I kinda wish I had a chance to watch this thing and watch for what you suggested.
Also let me propose an additional possibility. If he was afraid of panic attacks he may have dosed on beta blockers, which can keep the heart from racing too much. Performers and speech givers are known to take them before big shows to take the edge off the nerves, but if you take too little it doesn’t help and if you take too much it dulls your mental alertness and can make you dopey.

I suspect as with Blaisey-Ford that he is acting. That way he can come off as a sympathetic figure and not an anti-Trump hack.

It was evident from the get go they were appointed to ‘search’ for evidence they wanted to use in order to impeach this President ‘regardless’ of any collision or russian issues. ....They just wanted ‘access to documents and various other information’ they could add to their efforts of taking down Trump and why they will surly continue with this “coup’.
He’ll get away with it and he knows it. It’s fixed....it was fixed from the beginning. The only thing that went wrong for them is they couldn’t trap POTUS - he was too smart for them....not to mention innocent.

Mueller just said it required corrupt intent, and he also said he didn’t know about intent.
Louis Gohmert said Trump was fighting false charges and that is not a corrupt intent. As Gohmert said, “What he’s doing is not obstructing justice, he is pursuing justice, and the fact that you ran it out two years, means you perpetrated injustice.”
Anyone who would pursue obstruction of justice charges against President Trump would be laughed out of court.
Or focusing on the wrong suspect in the Anthrax letters.

Mueller is doing much much better with questions from Dim chairman - the pencil neck man. Mueller is focusing and answering questions clearly and without stumbling. He also seems confident.
Under questioning from co chairman Nunes, Mueller is refusing to answer at least half of questions asked. Entirely different from this morning.
