They brand Trump a racist and by extension YOU are a racist.
Everyone sees the world through some kind of moral and interpretive framework
American leftists see it through a statist and Neo-marxist method of analysis.
The great irony to me is that WE support it - through the entire process of public education, through government spending on 1000 different programs, through media and entertainment.
The “long march through the institutions” is over - and the Leftist termites have chewed through all of them.
The good news is this Democratic Party civil war is sure to end in disaster for the Left. And this can only benefit the American people.

I believe that the Democrat Party and the Left in America in general are the tools of a Commie conspiracy to undermine this country that began in the 1930s. The architects of the plan are long gone, but their descendants are carrying on the work they started.

Once the state socialists lost the Cold War after socialists in the West promised us for decades their fellow travelers in the East were going to win it, they experienced a crisis of faith. So in an effort to keep their secular religion going they latched onto Gaia Worship and cultural Marxism - the economic argument having completely failed. So today all throughout the West the demand for racism (to fight) vastly exceeds the supply. Everybody who disagrees with Leftists must by virtue of said disagreement alone, be racist Nazi Hitler.......because obviously only racist Nazi Hitler could ever disagree with their politics.
Just don’t mention that Hitler was a Socialist.

Jim, I see it more simply. The people I know who are “progressives,” have the mistaken belief that they are so much smarter than the body of our citizenry (and by extension that the rest of us are too stupid and ill-informed to be allowed to govern ourselves), that they should have the self-subscribed “right” to govern the rest of us. While I truly believe that Conservatism and Capitalism, hand in hand offer the best life for the most people, I never say that directly. It is not so for “progressives,” who “just know that they are right” and don’t mind telling you so. They have also honed to perfection the process of “being offended about just about everything.” You can’t tell one of them a joke without their somehow twisting something that’s light-hearted into some unintended slight, racial slur, etc.
They don’t actually ‘see’ racism, but they use the cry to deflect from their own idiocy.
Racism is a magic word that immediately shuts down any debate. And it works without any training or effort. A very effective weapon that can be wielded by even the most brain-dead minion.
Why wouldn’t they use it?

Because all of those things have Authority and Democrats want to own all authority. ALL of it.
1. The core motivation of Democrats is hatred of morality and moral consequence. So they hate Christianity, marriage, family structure, and any individual freedom or power.
They crave a risk-free socialist state where the consequences of moral perversion are cloaked by the state, and any criticism is criminalized and brutally oppressed. In this ideal secular world, no one believes in anything but socialism and the appetites of personal perversion.
2. Racism as an accusation is a bludgeon to oppress conservative speech. But the concepts of racism and multiculturalism also protect the Democrat ideal as seen in today’s black ghetto - absence of morality and family structure and total dependence on government.
The nightmare of poor black culture is the Democrat goal for all Americans, enforced by a brutal totalitarian state.
It allows them to exempt themselves from laws as they desire. It creates a ruling class complete with nepotism for their families, thereby excluding them also.
It gives them power. Control. The long timers are megalomaniacal traitors.
As a byproduct, they get incredibly wealthy with fame and servants.
I was intrigued at how many were fomer slave owning families. Certainly explains why they love taxpayer slaves.
