“....Democrat politician who is also of a protected minority class = faces zero prospect of punishment or repercussions from anything she does.....”

She’s as safe, if not safer, as old cabbage-stench PIAPS Clinton. Under our weird 2-teir justice system, both of these criminal POSs are as safe as they can be. Until both are prosecuted, there is NO equal justice under law....NONE! But if you or I don’t pay our taxes...well, that’s “different”. Plan on the full brunt of the justice system coming down around our ears.

With few exceptions, whenever a democrat politician is caught red handed committing crimes he is given the chance to resign and if he does, all is forgotten and charges disappear. If he is defiant only then will they pursue it.

Bob Torricelli is a great example. Prominent Senator, caught red handed by the FBI. Resigned in disgrace. never changed with diddly squat. Not having power is considered punishment enough for a democrat.

On the other hand let's look at Ted Stevens. Prominent Republican Senator who did nothing wrong but was charged and prosecuted with basically the same thing Toricelli definitely did and was prosecuted aggressively. He fought it, got convicted like a week before the election and the democrat won. But it turned out Stevens was being railroaded by a malicious prosecutor and FBI team (under Robert Mueller) who were hiding exculpatory evidence including testimony from their star witness that contradicted earlier statements made under oath that exonerated Stevens. The angered the judge, who was so upset he took the rare step of overturning Stevens' conviction. but his career was over and a democrat was in the Senate. And nobody from that malicious prosecution team was held accountable.
