I guess his point is that Trump ‘regrets’ the “send her back” chant.
I don’t know if I can speak for others here, but I’m not bothered a bit by either the chant, or Trump’s later reaction to it. Trump does have a country to run, I do not, and there’s a big difference between saying that perhaps the chant went a bit over the top, versus someone like McCain saying on Meet the Press, or something like it “He’ll make a fine president” when referring to Obama in 2008, just before the election.
Drudge has become an imitation of the fifth-column leftist Yahoo News.

I don’t like and don’t understand that President Trump had any problem with the chant to send that evil women back. Didn’t he (properly) essentially start it? It’s not like him to back away from something like that. Especially when the subject is a pro terrorist, anti Israel worm.

Yeah, I noticed that, and I have never seen a headline last that long on Drudge. Looks like he has energetically gone over to the dark side.
I just looked at Drudge out of curiosity and the number of anti Trump links is disgusting. He thinks he is going to hold on to the conservative base while adding to the Leftard/ TDS crowd. Either that or his leftie/Trump hating/ homosexual partner is editing his links which I doubt. It’s about clicks and revenue. Contrast with Rush. He always sticks to his guns and liberals are welcome to listen but he doesn’t go out of his way to pander. That’s why he is enormously successful.
Americans have become accustomed to the three syllable chant ever since "U-S-A" became popular.
President Trump only suggested that they voluntarily go back to their ethnic homelands to fix problems there, and come back and tell us how they did it.
"Send her back" implies a government that forcibly deports people, which is legal after all reasonable due process. Trump was not suggesting forcible removal.
