The president can’t direct congress to do anything. Congress can initiate its investigations, and if the House was run by republicans, there may be a chance to investigate her.

I agree. It should be the DOJ. It looks like she committed crimes. Maybe there’s a reason why the petition is worded this way. Congress can look at it, but Trump needs to get the DOJ involved and the IRS.
Maybe we should put up a new petition for a DOJ, IRS, and ICE investigation. Maybe a Free Republic petition.
