A New York federal judge has issued an order definitively blocking the Trump administration from adding a citizenship question to the 2020 census in any form, despite the administration's insistence it has abandoned plans to add a question on the census.

One major constitutional concern is how can the feds protect and defend Section 2 of the 14th Amendment (14A) if the feds don’t know who its citizens are?
”14th Amendment, Section 2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens [emphases added] twenty-one years of age in such State."

In addition to the feds needing to know the number of citizens to be able to comply with Section 2 of 14A, let's consider another major constitutional problem if feds cannot identify citizens.
The post-Civil War congressional record shows that discussion related to Section 2 shows concern that renegade states who manipulate ballot box by allowing undocumented Democrats (my term) to vote in order to weaken the voting power of majority citizens are effectively wrongly nullifying the "Uniform rule of Naturalization Clause," Clause 4 of Section 8 of Article I.
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 4: To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;"
" If the States can admit to the elective franchise those who are not citizens, thereby neutralizing the votes of citizens, not only the Federal power of naturalization becomes a nullity, but” * * * * "a minority of citizens by the aid of aliens may control the government of the States, and through the States the government of the Union [emphasis added]." —Appendix to the Congressional Globe, 1868. (See near middle of 1st column.)
" Whatever difference there may be as to what other right appertain to a citizen, all must agree that he has the right to petition and also to claim the Protection of the Government. These belong to him as a member the body politic, and the possession of them is what separates citizens of the lowest condition from aliens and slaves. Regarding federal judge blocking citizenship question from census, what would desperate Democrats do if they didn't have tyrant judges to hide behind?
It's not surprising that PDJT is keeping his eyes open for Democratic ballot box fraud in 2020 elections.
Patriots need to support PDJT in working with the states to allow only citizens who present valid citizenship / photo ID cards to be allowed to vote, such cards scannable and / or containing security chip to facilitate “vision-impaired” Democratic voting officials.
Patriots also need to elect a new patriot Congress in the 2020 elections that will not only promise to support PDJT's vision of MAGA, now KAG, but will also promise to uphold their oaths to protect and defend both citizens and the Constitution.

Trump should just have the census bureau revert to an older, simpler census questionnaire that contained the question. The argument would then be, “This was accepted in XXXX, so it’s clearly ok now.”
