Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., has a “deep sense of satisfaction” that Democrats running for president have adopted some of the radical ideas he campaigned on in 2016. Moderate Democrats can be forgiven for not sharing his enthusiasm, as they watch their candidates embrace policies that only a socialist – and not most Americans – could love.
In a recent Washington Post/ABC poll, when registered voters were asked to choose between President Trump and a Democrat who they considered a socialist, Trump won 49 to 43. Note that two-thirds of those answering that question identified themselves as a Democrat or independent; only 23 percent were Republicans.
So, maybe not ready for Bernie after all.

I’ve said many times that we have debt of gratitude to Bernie because while he never could win (the DNC will never allow it), he made socialism seem acceptable to the Democrat party and pulled them further to the left than Republicans ever could have. He’s like a shape-charge explosive that only exerts force in one direction and causes all kinds of destruction.
The only think he could do worse (better for us) would be to quit after they screw him again and go 3rd party.

Of course, President Trump has actually engineered all of this by deliberately pushing the various Trump Derangement Syndrome buttons of the dying lying leftist fake stream enemedia, and directing their hatred into pushing the Four Horsewomen as the new face of the Democrat Party.

OK, but the thrust of this article is that dems are going to blame Bernie if they lose. And I think that Bernie played a role in the lurch to the left. Targeting of dems’ blame doesn’t necessarily make sense.

lord only knows who they are going to blame when they lose, but i really think that by the time the election rolls around that Bernie is gonna be non-factor.. he practically already is right now at only 15% in the RCP poll averate:

Trump is going to win a sizable number of Democrat votes next year. Those Democrats in the heartland in states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio may not be conservative, but they sure as hell aren’t radicals either. The AOC Squad may be getting the media to slobber all over them, but keeping the focus on them and their racist and radical antics will drive a lot more White Democrats to vote for Trump next year.
Bernie will not have a thing to do with the noxious, venomous LIEberal/Socialist/Marxist/Fascist/Communist/Democrats losing in 2020!
