Trump outdid himself with anti-“squad” tweets over the weekend suggesting that the four Democratic congresswomen go back where they came from. The tweets were clearly trolling and meant to be sardonic — supposedly they are to go back home, fix their countries, and then return here to tell us how it’s done, with Nancy Pelosi happy to pay the airfare.
They are several things to say about this: 1) As always, presidents shouldn’t troll; 2) on a tactical level, it’s incredibly dumb for the president to insert himself into the middle of the Democratic circular firing squad between Nancy Pelosi and Co. and AOC and Co.; 3) politically, this kind of thing repels Republican suburban women, and he’ll need to win back some increment of them in 2020; 4) substantively, three of the four targets were born in this country, but his tweets suggest that somehow they can’t be true Americans; 5) as for Ilhan Omar, who came here as a refugee, it’s absolutely fair game to excoriate her for being a poisonous ingrate, but the barroom-stool taunt of “go back to the country you came from” isn’t the way to do it.
A poor show all around.

Hard to believe that a word smith who has been so wrong about everything for the past 3 years, deigns to give the master at getting things done (POTUS) advice on tactics. Just one little example of something RINO’s like Rich Lowry had been trying unsuccessfully to get done for 30 years that POTUS got done almost as an afterthought. Opening ANWR for drilling. Not only does Lowry not know how to get things done, he’s literally incapable of recognizing someone whose tactical genius has already allowed him to do so.
With each passing day I am getting more convince that Trump is making a hard push for support from the one demographic group that might despise these four harridans more than I do: BLACK MEN.

Why don’t you go back to kindergarten and learn a bit of common sense, and perhaps a bit of logic.
The president is the best person around to voice the American people’s thoughts and feelings about people like the 4 anti-American women who are making more noise than they’re worth.
If anybody but the president gave voice to our thoughts, that person would go unnoticed and the 4 losers would end up being heard even louder.
So, Trump needs to be twitting often and ‘loud’ and defending America against its internal enemies, such as the 4 horse-shits of the apocalypse.
Those 4 nobodies need to go back to their countries and/or to a country that best fits their idea of what the U.S. should be like. The U.S. its not their country, and we Americans don’t want them here.
So, Rich, why don’t you wise up and start paying attention to the president, who is actually doing the work of the people, while you are simply complaining with some ‘statesmanlike’ commentary. Trump understands the people, and you don’t.
Lowry dedicated a total issue of NR to stop the Trump candidacy. He was and is a never-Trumper. He has no credibility or insight. Hillary would be President if Trump had listened to Lowry.
