My family has roots so deep, I haven’t heard any of them threatening to leave. We still have a small town attitude and know our neighbors and participate in the community.
Sure wish we had a different Governor, he’s a petty dictator who micromanages everything. Not sure if voter fraud had a hand in his election and reelection. Now, if NYC was in a different state, policies would have changed many years ago. The rest of the state is outnumbered by the CITY.
We have many activists in our community, but we are outvoted by NYC. The cities combine to outvote the entire suburban and rural communities. At this time our legislature is controlled by the Democrats also. It’s a sad state of affairs.
