I guess he’s GIVEN UP on trying to fool us into thinking that he’s actually with us.

Like most here, I supported him until Trump showed up, and holy crap, I had NO CLUE just who I was supporting - and I’ve voted for this guy in Texas. He certainly had me fooled.

I would say Cruz hiring Neil Bush should erased all doubt that he was anything more than GOPe controlled “conservative” opposition.

Don't feel too bad. Look how many got hoodwinked by Bush, who sent him right into the oval office.

Some have keen perception, some not so much. I was very confident Rafael Cruz was a poser from day one and said so in the face of numerous attacks and even a threat of two.

Trump is a defacto independent player and was the only outsider out of a conga-line of career political hacks. Turns out he is clearly the best man for the job by a series of magnitudes. Going forward, this should always be remembered come election time. It's time to start looking very hard at future outsider candidates.
