It's clear that until Trump came along, despite thousands of words and thousands of proclamations by the leaders of both parties (i.e., the swamp), there was never, ever, ever any intention or commitment to follow through with securing the southern border and enforcing our immigration laws ... for the past five decades it has all been theater.
