Sen. Lindsey Graham said Thursday night during an appearance on Fox News Sean Hannity program that infighting between Democrat leadership including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the far-Left faction of her party led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) will lead to GOP victories next year.
And a new Republican majority in the House.
What does this really mean? I think Republicans are more likely to take the House back because of this breakdown, Graham said.
There are 31 Democrats that hold congressional seats where President Trump won their congressional district, Graham, a South Carolina Republican, continued. What does it mean to these 31?

He better be right.
I know Sen. Graham has limited credibility on this forum.
Still, I will never forget how he rediscovered his principles during the Kavanaugh hearings.
Win the House majority first. Then you can talk about what helped you get it.
Our side just needs to shut up and let it play out
When your opponent is fighting itself, sit back and watch, don’t interfere, that is dumb.
When you interfere you remind them who the real enemy is....
Jeez
Still, I will never forget how he rediscovered his principles during the Kavanaugh hearings.
He put on a great show
Glad you bought it
The clip of this interview is on youtube. Graham was disgraceful. Said he was still “waiting on Horowitz.” Hannity asked him point blank if he was going to subpoena Weissman and Graham ran as fast as he could from the question.
You have to have principles first in order to recover them. Graham is a survivor. When McCain died he hitched his wagon to Trump. If someone else comes along who looks able to upstage Trump then Graham will kiss up to them.
Graham’s “support” of POTUS is entirely bloviation. No substance to it at all. Once he is safely reelected next year you can expect he will revert to form.
You mean A Koch Bros Liberation open borders Cheap Labor Express majority. The GOP has learned nothing since Trump’s election.
How exciting for the GOP to take back the house! Then we can have THEM get back to impeding Trump instead of democrats.
The Russia narrative, the failure to repeal obamacare, the refusal to build a wall... the list is long. All GOP.
I agree that Republicans will regain control of the House. I hope that Sen. Graham will retire and be replaced by Nikki Haley. He’s in his third term. 18 years is too long for anyone to be in the U.S. Senate.
Make it so!
Because Lindsey Graham lost John McCain. He had to adopt new trick.
I saw him on Hannity last night. He seemed nervous. Maybe it was something else I don’t know. Whatever, he seemed to be acting differently. Lots of fake laughing. Maybe he was just sucking up to the host.
Graham retire? Not a chance. He’s a spring chicken by US Senate standards at 64 years old.
Great, Mr. Graham. And what will the GOP majority do this time?
That was my thought too. Don’t make note or remind them of their foolish behavior and just let them implode.
Republican majorities in Congress during the Hastert, Boehner, and Ryan speakerships were a great disappointment. No core principles or agenda for conservative constituents, special favors for big donors and large corporations, dissing of the Tea Party movement, zero fiscal discipline (all appropriations bills originate in the House) and constant capitulation to Democrats.
My GOP Congressperson talks conservative during the 6 months before every election and touts the meaningless “window dressing” votes for conservative causes the leadership occasionally puts forward to make the base think they are conservatives. Yet like most GOP congress critters my representative constantly votes the globalist, free trade, open borders agenda of the Koch brothers and other big donors.
When given a GOP president in 2016, who would have signed almost any conservative bill put forward, the GOP Congress under Paul Ryan was in open opposition to the Trump agenda. By the end of the Ryan speakership it was clear most GOP Congresscritters and Senators hold the conservative base that elects them in contempt. Their values are those of the urban elites, not the middle class.
After nearly 50 years of voting for a GOP Congress, I’m under no illusion GOP control of the House will change anything. Unlike the Democrat party, which is openly socialist, the GOP has no philosophical foundation. They pretend to favor limited government to win conservative votes but the members of the party have no core convictions, passion, or willingness to fight for anything.
I suspect a GOP majority Congress led by Kevin McCarthy will be no different from the Hastert Congress, the Boehner Congress, or the Ryan Congress. The party is corrupt and Congress is corrupt. Expect more of the same.
How exciting for the GOP to take back the house! Then we can have THEM get back to impeding Trump instead of democrats.
*************
Yes, the prospect of giving the House back to the same people who squandered two precious years and refused to support the Trump agenda is nothing to look forward to.
They could have fixed the immigration mess and avoided this horrific crisis on our border yet they refused to do anything about it. And now we’re living with the severe consequences of their inaction. If the Republicans were doctors they would be sued for malpractice.
At least we can blame the Democrats when they’re in control. LOL
Great, Mr. Graham. And what will the GOP majority do this time?
