Never a fan but I’d have quietly wished them well. But then the dyke had to go open her stupid gob.
This (ex) sports fan is tired of the dregs of society being allowed to drink, drug, beat wives, and to disrespect the very country that has given them these blessing in the first place.
I used to be a sports fan, but over time have become disgusted with every aspect of the debacle. On every level. From high school foolsball all the way to the National Felons League. They've lost me as a fan forever.
Somebody needs to tell that self-absorbed loud-mouth we don’t need anymore reasons to despise soccer.

When I grew up, soccer was something we had to do in gym class on very rare occasions. Nobody played 'pickup' games of soccer, because it we just didn't think it was that much fun.
If I had a family member who played soccer competitively on any level, I'd support and cheer for him or her. Otherwise, I have absolutely zero interest in the sport. Less than zero, perhaps.
These women were symbolically representing our country -- until they weren't.

It takes a “special” team to move me from ambivalence to disgust. I generally support USA Teams but they lose me when they make it political.
Generally speaking, I’d rather watch paint dry than watch a Soccer game. It’s like Hockey without the fights.
I like soccer. I used to play and later I coached a development league team. Having given up on the NFL for their pandering to their anti American players you would think I’d be soccer’s prime target to pull in as a fan. However, after the ladies team display I can tell you that isn’t going to happen. In fact it just reinforces a decision I made - I’m done with “professional” sports. I don’t watch or follow any of them. The players seem to have gotten a little full of themselves. They are there to play, to entertain, to demonstrate someone at the pinnacle of performance. If I want political or social commentary I’ll go to sources I trust and respect. Professional athletes are not in that group, nor are actors, singers, etc. They seem to confuse their celebrity with actual knowledge. Just look pretty, chase the ball etc. Realize that I can get exactly the same level of entertainment from a puppy as from you, and probably about the same political social insights.
She only cares about herself.
