Jeffrey Epstein is accustomed to having an entourage meet his private jet at the airport; he’s just not used to it being made up of FBI agents. Last Saturday, the billionaire and registered sex offender returned from a trip to Paris only to be arrested. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, famously aggressive in pursuing high-profile prosecutions, charged Epstein last week with child sex trafficking in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1591. These new charges represent the Department of Justice’s attempt to redeem a reputation soiled by the extremely questionable plea deal it gave Epstein in 2008.
In 2006 and 2007, Epstein—once a reliable companion of the well connected—faced extensive, detailed allegations that he paid multiple minors for sexual contact and for their services in procuring other minors. Most people, hammered with that kind of evidence, would spend the rest of their lives in prison. But Epstein could afford the lavish attention of a defense team staffed by legal luminaries such as Alan Dershowitz and Kenneth Starr. Most of us hope an attorney will defend us competently at trial, but the superrich can afford to go on the offense. Epstein’s lawyers hounded the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, which was considering federal charges, based on reports that Epstein had procured underage girls across state lines. Former U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta—now President Donald Trump’s secretary of labor—characterized the tactic as a “year-long assault on the prosecution and prosecutors,” and complained that Epstein’s team investigated prosecutors and their families, “looking for personal peccadilloes that may provide a basis for disqualification.”

Definitely an excellent post. It answers the questions about the statute of limitations and the scope of the FL nonprosecution agreement and gives supporting citations. Now it's possible to see how strong the current prosecution is and it's very strong. Anyone who's read my prior posts on this will see I had serious questions about the S of L and NPA issues.
There's also a serious point this article addresses, albeit indirectly, about Acosta, who was the U. S. Attorney at the time who signed off on the NPA. It looks to me like he was in the unpleasant position of a Lt. Col. who was pressured into doing something he didn't want to do by higher authority that could destroy him if he didn't. Remember, this was the action of the GWB administration and, sad to say, GWB and Clinton were tight as ticks, with Clinton flying around on Epstein's plane and Epstein supporting the Clinton Foundation, which GWB was also up to his eyeballs in. Indeed, the famiglia Bush was the Clintons' ethical laundry. As such, they'd have done their best to whore for Clinton by helping Epstein.
Just the fact that Epstein’s lawyers want to make a deal tells you that it was strong.
The only evidence that the pervert legal team wants to make a deal is a quote from Jack Posobiac in Epoch Times.
They may very well want to make a deal, but it's way too soon for them to be discussing it with the government, because they don't know a) what the government has and b) what the government wants.

Epstein is a college dropout yet he was given a teaching job at the most prestigious college preparatory school in NYC (by headmaster Donald Barr, father of AG Barr) followed up by a job at one of the most powerful financial institutions on Wall Street.

One can only hope to God. An entire generation of people will intentionally gouge their own eyes out attempting to unsee what has been seen.
This, I believe, is the beginning of the destalinization (Clintons=Stalin) of the Democrats. They and their cronies must be swept aside so that the next generation can set itself up and receive the benefits of being on the top of the socialist heap.
