Alan Dershowitz is speaking out for the first time since Jeffrey Epstein‘s indictment.
The legal scholar — who was reportedly ticketed to appear on Hannity Monday night, but was not seen — broke his silence Tuesday morning on local radio in New York. Speaking with host Joe Piscopo, Dershowitz highlighted his top-line takeaway from the Epstein indictment.
“The indictment itself is fairly bare bones,” he said. “From my point of view, the important thing is that it doesn’t mention me.”
Dershowitz has been accused of participating in Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking operation. Virginia Giuffre, who is suing Dershowitz for defamation, claims she had sex with him as part of that operation.
I wondered what happened to him!
Last time I saw him on TV he was pitching dietary supplements for bodybuilders.
I believe Virginia. I wasn’t there when she was having sex with Dersh but I feel as though I were.
You’re getting to the heart of it. Flying on a plane is not illegal. Being friends with a slimebag is not illegal. Watching other people have sex with underage girls is (probably?) not illegal. Visiting Pedo Island is not illegal. And on and on.
To convict, they have to have evidence that will stand up to legal scrutiny and only time will tell whether such is available. The eyewitness testimony of the girls/women would seem to be pretty damning, but it’s got to be under oath and they’ve got to be able to withstand cross-examination by the best defense lawyers in the world.
Just saying. It’s one thing to post crap online and a whole nuther thing to build a case, prosecute it, and send the jerk to real prison. The difference is this time maybe it will get a proper test rather than being pulled by the bigwigs like the FL deal was.

I think Dersh was one of Epstein’s attorney’s in the last case a few years ago.
Whether you believe her or not is irrelevant when it comes to defending yourself in court when you get sued for defamation. Stating something as a fact that ends up being untrue can be very costly. You might want to consider indicating it is your opinion. Just saying,

And she is suing him for denying it, IIRC. Without other evidence, I’m not sure she has a firm legal basis.
Yes, she is speaking out when so many didn’t. But that does not mean she is right in all things. Evidence will tell.
In my opinion,no. I spanked my child when necessary. And my parents spanked me when they felt it was necessary. The term, “when necessary” is relative. It depends whether one is the spanker or the spankee. And, to tell the truth, it was my legs and not my bum that received the attention. My mother used a limber oak switch. My father used his belt.

It is strange how Dershowitz became a darling on Trump’s side (and our side) when everyone else around him simply hates Trump. Obviously I have no evidence to prove anything, but I wouldn’t be totally surprised if may have known something was brewing with Epstein and figured that being a Trump defender may help him out in the long run. (hopefully I’m wrong though, we need him just as he is)
