The only reason they had 5 minutes is because the media force fed it to the public.
It’s all about them......Like with the vast majority of self involved Liberal/Progressives. It’s always about them.
Unfortunately, the media will extend that by hosting them on the “hate Trump tour”. And, unfortunately for the other members of the team, the hateful loud mouths will overshadow their win and make it about themselves.
I’d love to see how the ratings for that game and the lousy US men’s team’s Gold Cup game compared.

Many members of this team would rather play under the Rainbow Flag than the Stars and Stripes.
These women disappoint and disgust me with their arrogance and attitude against the Country they play for. I did not see one other team in this tournament act angrily like they did. NOT ONE....Now watch as they all get endorsements and shoved in our faces the next year or so....blah...
Hope TSA and Customs checks them out all the way and they won’t fly anywhere on my plane.
Someone should point out to them the millions in endorsements they lost out on by acting like assholes.
They can’t force feed everyone.
I’m happy to say the posting on FR was the first I’d heard they won.
I couldn’t tell you who they played or what the score was, because girl’s kickball doesn’t register for me.
What we have going on today in our society are adults with two year old minds throwing temper tantrums. I remember how embarrassing it was dealing with my two year old and now I have to witness it all again, but this time its much worse, this time its adults who are acting up.
Looks like the gal is just stupid and was looking to free her hands for her little dance. Just that in itself shows that she (like so many other young athletes) lacks the respect and maturity necessary to deal with the stardom, fame and fortune.
But kudos to the player that jumped in and scooped the flag up. They are not all brain-dead, socialist idiots.
Didn’t see any stomping. And IMO, the drop looks like just a flippant attitude and not anything vindictive. But ... kudos to the player who rushed in and grabbed the flag! Who was that? Let’s turn our attention to her and ignore that dude Rapinoe.
