Biden failed to win the Democratic primary multiple times.
He rode Obama’s coat-tails into the VP office by mostly shutting up.
Biden will not be the nominee.
Right now the media is supporting Kamala Harris, but her skeletons may come back to haunt her.
There are still over 20 candidates in the race. Whomever is strongest will get attacked the most during the monthly debates.

Make no mistake. Any one of the Democrats can beat Trump if his campaign screws it up and theirs doesn’t. The secret is not to do that, to get the base out in huge numbers because the Democrat base will be, and to attract enough undeclared voters to take Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania again.
Biden or any Dem has the possibility of beating Trump. It is a matter of changing demographics. The Dem candidate has received more popular votes than the Rep in 6 out of the last 7 elections. The Dem candidate starts out electorally with many more assured votes than the Reps. The 2020 election will be close regardless of whom the Dems nominate.

The reason why the DNC may want a safe, soft, generic, slightly awkward old white candidate because they are calculating that any democrat is going to get a block of 40 to 45% of the population no matter who runs, based on the anti-Trump hysteria that the media has so patiently constructed over 3 years, and the safe candidate is more likely to pull in the needed moderate-independents that will put them over the top. A hardcore socialist is a bigger risk.
I still don’t think Biden would even get the nomination. I don’t know what reforms the DNC made since they got caught rigging the primaries last time, but I assume their control is more underground and stealthy than last time, and perhaps not as effective. The hard left have the loudest voice. But can they win primaries? If it’s a large field, I think they can.
The one way I could see Biden being the nominee is if the 'rats decide they should just nominate a designated loser so as not to taint their future stars with the stench of losing (a stench which Joe is already covered in).
