Funny for me because I’m stuck on the communications logistics for a base on the dark side of the Moon...there would have to be at least one satellite in lunar synchronus orbit to serve as a repeater.

Why not just put the satellite at a Lagrange point? L4 or L5 would work, and it would be stable.
