If the Trump Admin stops speaking with him, he will quickly be replaced.

Umm...no. Ambassadors must be acceptable to the nations they are meant to treat with. The US is under no obligation to accept Britain's ambassador, and Britain would be very wise to recall him immediately.

They will eventually pull him especially if Boris Johnson becomes PM. They just don’t want to lose face by doing it right away. Trump should send a firm message to the Brit government that he has instructed his administration not to return his calls.

Just get the word out that his interface to the US government going forward will be the second assistant to the Undersecretary of dog catching, and nature will quickly take its course.
