Donald Trump says Britain's ambassador...has 'not served UK well'

DONALD Trump said Britain's ambassador to Washington who branded him "inept" has "not served the UK well".

The US President broke his silence just a day after a series of damning indictments were leaked from secret cables back to Whitehall over a two year period. His response came as it was confirmed that Sir Kim Darroch - who dubbed the White House "uniquely dysfunctional" and said Trump "radiates insecurity" - will stay in his role.

Foreign Secretary and Tory leadership hopeful Jeremy Hunt insisted on Saturday that the 65-year-old was "doing his job" as "frank opinions" from ambassadors are vital.

These limeys used their so-called “intelligence service” to try to undermine Donald Trump’s election.

Screw them. No trade deal with them.

Piss poor, worthless “allies.”

If the Trump Admin stops speaking with him, he will quickly be replaced.

Yup. I would have two big US Marshals throw this clown into an old rusty van and take him to an airport.

will stay in his role.

Umm...no. Ambassadors must be acceptable to the nations they are meant to treat with. The US is under no obligation to accept Britain's ambassador, and Britain would be very wise to recall him immediately.

They will eventually pull him especially if Boris Johnson becomes PM. They just don’t want to lose face by doing it right away. Trump should send a firm message to the Brit government that he has instructed his administration not to return his calls.

Just get the word out that his interface to the US government going forward will be the second assistant to the Undersecretary of dog catching, and nature will quickly take its course.

Agreed, but they won’t recall him. He will probably be “asked to resign” in private. I believe he was due to retire at the end of the year anyway.

Its a bloody stupid response. It almost proves the Ambassador’s comments are on the money.
