I know she’s talking federal, not state and local government. I can say from experience, in local San Diego Government offices, it’s hard to find a white male working in these offices. There are plenty of “Latinas” as she puts it, and many of various ethnic backgrounds. Are we allowed to say “Latinas” anymore; I thought that was somehow bigoted now?
The same federal government which had led the way on diversity and inclusion and affirmative action, has done a horrible job in the opinion of the Elizabeth Warren liberals of the world. That’s a dismal thought, when we all know how much government employment has been a place of great diversity for years.
Not a word about the importance of competency, skills or knowledge. All that matters is your color and gender.
