The two Democratic presidential debates last week in Miami were marked by calls to remember Floridas Parkland High School shooting, which occurred only 50 miles away from where the debate took place. The Democrats agreed on two solutions to stop these attacks: impose background checks on private transfers of guns, and ban military-style weapons of war.
Even when the questions werent about gun control, candidates still found ways to bring up the topic.

Many Democrats have a hard time believing that their opponents want to save lives. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., claimed during the debate, Its the greed of the NRA and the gun manufacturers that make any progress impossible. Congressman Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., argued, The NRA is taking orders from the gun manufacturers, thats the problem.
But it isnt a question of who is getting paid off by gun makers. Some people think that banning guns makes people safer, just as others sincerely believe that such bans will disarm and endanger law-abiding citizens.
Many terrorist types want to kill as many people as possible, and are drawn to gun-free zones where regular citizens are prohibited from being able to protect themselves.
One of the authors here, Andrew Pollack, experienced first-hand the disastrous consequences of gun-free zones. His daughter died in the Parkland massacre.
Despite focusing on Parkland, none of the candidates addressed the issue of school safety, aside from pushing gun control. No one mentioned the unsafe environment created by leniency, given by both liberal educators and the police, to troubled youth. While all the candidates endorsed full health care coverage for illegal immigrants, none talked about providing funds to help cover mental illness for Americans. Gun control was their only solution.

When the article cannot get the NAME of the school correct, it is a sign they have a generic agenda at best, and also— do not want to discuss what happened to the Broward Sheriff (he was fired by the Governor DeSantis, and the courts), or the idiotic “school resource officer” who did NOTHING to stop a kid he KNEW! (he’s been indicted), or anything else including TV Hogg David Hogg (now at haaaaahhhvaahd, with piss poor grades).
The school is named after environmental FL author Marjory Stoneman Douglas that is MSDouglas High. NOT Parkland High. Really lazy journos these days. She wrote a great book on the Everglades called “River of Grass”. That the Glades are really one flowing river to Florida Bay and the Gulf.
In regards to the NRA, the following was informative for me. I didn’t follow the buzz on the matter earlier or know much about it.
Turmoil In The NRA

The expenses for Wayne LaPierre that some of the left-media journalists ranted about were incurred over a period of about 13 years (2004 through 2017) and appear to have been used in connection with television and other productions (billed through Ackerman McQueen).
I’ll continue to be a member of the NRA and smaller organizations.
Ex sheriff Scott Isreal put his name on the ballot today and he said,
“It wasn’t the cops that failed it was that evil person that did this”.
The Pol Poi regime was pretty good at preventing any mass shooting except for those condoned by the government. At least until the Vietnamese invaded...
they would be climbing over themselves to vote republican.
It's intentional.
Our schools are using Howard Zinn's "Alternate History" of the US, as Actual history. They teach that America is a Democracy, that our Founding Fathers were a bunch of racists, that Free-Market Capitalists are Fascists, that violent "protests" are patriotic, etc.
Starting with Leipzig, our schools are simply producing obedient little Democrat automatons.
Sad.
