Just as 2020 Dems push socialist healthcare, Nordic countries are moving to private insurance

Nearly all 2020 Democratic presidential contenders are pushing some form of full-on socialized, government-controlled healthcare, most wrapped in a “Medicare-for-all” scheme the candidates say resembles “successful” similar programs in Europe.

But what these candidates are not telling Americans — nor is the Democrat-aligned “mainstream media” — is that several Nordic countries with long histories of socialist-like healthcare are moving more towards private insurance models.

This comes as top Democratic contenders like Sen. Bernie Sanders are threatening to do away with all private, mostly employer-based health insurance, which currently covers roughly 100 million Americans (who are mostly satisfied with their coverage, despite the massive increases in premiums and deductibles brought about by Obamacare).

Huh.

So, if you are getting something for free, it’s because someone else worked for it?

Huh.

Good idea but won’t help them if they don’t stem the tide of Muzzie immigration.

Insurance... this worked until gov got their hands in it.
1960... we got our own insurance. It didnt come with a job. It was called hospitalization insurance. It covered hospital stays/charges. We paid for office visits, which ranged sround $25 .. and we paid for meds, which was around $10 each.
For instance, a dr for a pregnancy, paid with each visit, and his charge was paid by time of birth.. around $300 - $400. And hospital paid by insurance.
You could find a dr who saw patience in a small town. Usibg an addition to have an office in his house, and charge $5 for a visit.
Gov got hold of all this and drs fee went up.. Insurance was a bonus with job, and it was out of people’s hands and out of control.
A dr i know, retired when paper work took all the time

Every government program costs far more and delivers a whole lot less than promised. Once in place, though, they are difficult to get rid of, including the army of bureaucrats hired to administer these programs.

Government can’t manage a 2-car funeral, so I don’t know why people put government in charge of education and health care.
