March 21, 2019: Fla. May Become 13th State to Give Illegal Immigrants Driver’s Licenses
Judicial Watch ^ | March 21, 2019

Posted on 06/28/2019 9:34:29 AM PDT by 4Runner

In a local news report the state representative, Anna Eskamani, behind the measure said this: “I always ask the question about why not build trust with those who are already marginalized, versus pushing them farther and farther away from us. I think what this bill does is it helps to build that trust. It also helps ensure public safety.”

The Senate version was introduced by Miami Democrat Javier Rodriguez, who asserts that “it doesn’t matter your immigration status. If you are on the roads, you should have access to a driver’s test and the ability to get car insurance.”

I thought Florida had already been doing this.

Don't ANY elected officials care about America and it's citizens?

Yeah right.

Like Governor DeSantis would sign such a piece of crap bill.

Wishful thinking on the part of a Marxist Libtard, but then, I repeat myself.

If we lose Florida, we lose 2020.

Motor voter is why they want fraudulently documented foreigners to get licenses.

One more state where the TSA won’t accept DL’s for ID to board planes; will need a passport or passport card.

The government should just give them free car insurance. Also, anyone who has had their license taken away and still drives should be given their license back and also get free insurance.

The driving test needs to be eliminated. It is unconstitutional and unfair. Just because you don’t know how to maneuver a vehicle, or are blind, or have multiple DUI convictions should not keep you from driving.

In addition, many of the illegals, and many of our citizens can’t afford to buy a car. The government should give everyone who intends to use the roads a new car.

Now, cars often need repair, so that should be included in the deal. Free service/repair for the life of the vehicle. And I’m gonna need some gas too.

The Fl. Senate wouldn’t pass it and even if they did, Gov. DeSantis wouldn’t sign it. This is wishful thinking/propaganda.

Generally here in Florida, car insurance for illegals looks like a good pair of running shoes.....

Well a normal thinking person knows you’re being absurd to make a point.

The Democratic base would take it literally and agree with it 100%. There is a frightening number of people in this country that would agree with what you just wrote, chapter and verse.

Anna Eskamani is a moron...if illegals can get a Florida DL. That doesn’t mean they will get insurance...

So how does that help public safety ?

Florida insurance is required only if you own a car...

You actually insure the car...

I don’t get it. I can’t get anything without proving I have a bank account, insurance, credit cards, a residence, a diploma, etc. And sometime even then, I can’t get things that seem to be a human right if you are illegal.

“If you are on the roads, you should have access to a driver’s test and the ability to get car insurance.”, yeah, so, uhm, okay, so if you are on the road without a driver’s license, that is against the law, correct? If I am stopped without a DL in FL I got a heap of troubles on my hand. I guess if I am illegal and caught driving without a DL, then they will give me a license to make me legal.
So since illegals are in this country illegally, let’s just make them legal and the problem just goes away.
Sounds logical to me!! Got it.

This “marginalized” garbage never ends. Nothing is ever one’s own fault. They “marginalized” themselves by breaking the law. So if someone “marginalizes” themselves by assaulting my daughter, then we should legalize rape so as to make the problem go away, no crime, no problem, save on policing, courts, prisons, etc.
