MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt misidentified Joe Biden’s Democrat segregationist pals on Wednesday as Republicans.
While teasing a segment about the uproar over the former vice president bragging about being able to do business with racist segregationists, Hunt, a far-left activist and MSNBC hostess, spread this fake news:
Still to come, Joe Biden references his relationships with two former Republican colleagues at an event in New York City. The only problem? They were both segregationists.
Actually, the only problem is that they were both Democrats, but other than that, great job Real NewsLady. What makes Hunt’s fake news especially egregious is that Biden specifically named the segregationist Senators: James Eastland of Mississippi and Herman Talmadge of Georgia, and both were proud, card-carrying members of the Democrat Party.

I really hope that for the former Vice President’s sake, that he leave the race...even though I believe Trump could handily beat him in November 2020, LORD willing...
It just seems that...Biden could have exited gracefully, with a good enough name in the sight of most Americans. But now he is bringing all this baggage to the forefront. He looks exhausted. I just don’t see what he or his family have to gain from all this.
Can we just put these people out of their misery?

The Democrat party (the party of slavery, separate-but-equal Jim Crow laws, lynchings, KKK, poll taxes, literacy tests, and now the party of abortion) doesn’t seem to like its role in that history.
Any time you hear liberal politicians talking about civil rights, they act as if the Democrat party led the fight for African-Americans, women, and other minorities in this country. It was the Republican party that introduced and passed all Reconstruction Amendments (13th through the 15th) and introduced nearly every African-American civil rights bill from the end of the Civil War through the mid 20th century.
The Civil Rights bills of the 50s and 60s were mere copies of bills defeated by Democrats nearly 100 years prior, and the GOP still voted in overwhelmingly larger margins than Dems.
... Ironically, it was Democrats who voted unanimously AGAINST the 15th Amendment, which guaranteed the right to vote ... regardless of “race, color, or previous condition of servitude”.
Thank goodness for this story, though. I learned all about the congressional “Southern Manifesto” in 1956 which was against integration. Out of 101 members who signed it, 99 were Democrats. Only one of them, Strom Thurmond, switched from Democrat to Republican. So much for the liberal mantra that Democrat segregationists switched parties during the 50s and 60s.
Kasie’s first and middle names are Kanase Yurk.
I don’t think it’s healthy to allow the Dems to exploit and capitalize on race so much even if it means the downfall of Biden’s candidacy. Praying President Trump’s team has a plan to reach out to minorities and break through the false narratives about GOP.
We certainly can wish and prepare for it
Robert Byrd - democrat leader of the Senate for years - maybe decades - was a KKK recruiter. Obama eulogized him when he died. It is high time the Democrat Party pay reparations.
None of the Dem Senators who opposed the bill switched parties after it passed. (Thurmond went from D to R well before.) As true politicians, they abandoned their supposed unshakeable support for segregation and started courting black voters with all the free stuff the War on Poverty started handing out.

I would wager if you did a man on the street interview a la Mark Dice, you would find that most people automatically believe Lincoln to have been a Democrat. I base that only on what I’ve experienced during my life, just talking to people. Many conversations where I have had to correct the record, and their minds are blown when they learn the truth. And many of them have been intelligent, educated people who should have known better.
