Have these intellectually blind kids visit Mount Vernon (like I did last month) and tell them that he requested that his slaves be freed upon his passing. IIRC, that took place when Martha passed a few years after George did.

Isnt Mount Vernon a wonderful and beautiful place?
We visited last year and enjoyed every second.

that he requested that his slaves be freed upon his passing.
He did better than that. He provided pensions for his freed slaves. No one thinks about it now, but freeing a slave who has been dependent on you for years is a cruelty, unless you provide them some means of support.

That is correct.
He did not like slaves being split up on farms, he wanted an end somehow to slavery, and he allowed as a whole blacks in the service of the AmRevWar.
