Isn’t Mount Vernon a wonderful and beautiful place?
We visited last year and enjoyed every second.
It was a lovely, gorgeous day when I went. I enjoyed the gardens and everything else there. I unfortunately missed out on the grist mill and I would have liked to have toured inside the historic buildings in Alexandria, but I had arrived in the area at a time in which I got to fully enjoy Mount Vernon itself but was that little bit too late to see those other two things.
