Sacramento police appeared to struggle to get cooperation from bystanders Wednesday evening while cordoning off the scene of a shootout that led to the death of one of their own.
A video posted to Twitter by Matthew Keys, a digital editor at Comstock's Magazine, appears to capture neighborhood residents shouting back at officers....
“The only person we need to be safe from is you,” another woman off camera is heard shouting.
“Hey, stray bullets catch people, man,” the officer responds.
Another voice behind the camera berates a cop for wearing a gun, repeatedly calling him a “coward.”
“Take that gun off. I’ll whoop your little butt,” the woman says. “All y’all cowards.”
“We know they are,” says the first one.
“Y’all cowards. We got guns too,” another voice says.

Like anyone would do that study, or even suggest it?
I would lean toward the question of natural selection of females in the harsh African lands, over eons. What inborn behavioral traits led to higher survival and procreation? Would such behavioral traits then become more widespread?

Kids learn what they live. Man oh man do I know that. Maybe if they saw some adult in their life finally saying something publicly they’d internalize it.
There was another time I watched a woman pay for 3 cases of Corona beer with a $100 bill. Right behind them were a dozen limes. Yep, you guessed it. The EBT card came out for one entire American dollar, plus applicable sales tax.
She got a hearty “you’re welcome”, too. I got the stink eye from the front seat of her shiny full size SUV when I walked out. I gave it right back.

There are a WHOLE LOT of us that feel that same way.

That’s a very good point. This “invading force” perception has to be addressed. Just how, I don’t know. Because most black leaders have a vested interest in keeping the wound open.
And cops are human. Their behavior is going to be affected by what they see around them, day after day and year after year.
Side point: I live in a mostly white, blue collar neighborhood. And based on my personal experiences, I don’t view the police as kindly as I did years ago. The times, they are a changin’.

Charged for what? That's the kind of thing antifa wants to do: jail people for speech.
Who would want to be a law enforcement officer in that city...
Lots of people want jobs where you can make >$150,000 in pay and benefits and get a cushy retirement with a high school diploma.
Add in legal immunity for most crimes and you have a line wrapped around the department on hiring day.

There is.
I was watching coverage on KCRA this morning (online) and they were showing police forcing people to leave their homes and using physical force to do so, the police then entered the homes to use them as vantage points, and police snipers took up positions on people’s rooftops.
Regardless of the motivations of the police these are all Constitutional violations (3rd & 4th Amendments) and had this event taken place in a wealthy neighborhood the police would have been far more polite to the residents and far more respectful of their property...so arguably also a 14th Amendment violation.
And as a former resident of Sacramento who was endlessly pleased to see it in my rearview mirror I can say from personal experience that this was what I expected from the SPD the whole time I lived there. The sheriff’s department wasn’t much better.
