This is as weird as the Justina Pelletier case.

Sadly I can believe their story having seen first hand what can be done to parents who decided not to send their child back to public school but enroll her in a private school instead.

There are 5.7 million children happily attending private schools in the US, so there has to be more to your story.

The Pelletier case actually isn’t as unique. The same hospital has done the same thing (accusing people with unusual conditions of being mentally ill). Including, once, another mitochondrial disorder.
