Arkansas State Police did not release the connection between the suspect and victim.
Arkansas State Police have told The DC Patriot that no further information will be released until authorities are confident it will not compromise the integrity of the criminal case.
This is a developing story and were on the ground here in Arkansas.
I wonder if the alleged perp is a democrat?

Rebecca ODonnell, a 48-year-old Arkansas woman whose Facebook page indicates she was a supporter of Linda Collins-Smiths campaign, is accused in the murder of the former state Senator.
Linda Collins-Smith was a staunch Republican, realtor and businesswoman who was found murdered outside her home in Arkansas. ODonnell also goes by the names Becky ODonnell and Rebecca Lynn ODonnell.
Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division and Deputies of the Randolph County Sheriffs Department, in coordination with the Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorneys Office, have arrested one person in connection with the homicide of former Arkansas State Senator Linda Collins-Smith, the Arkansas State Police wrote in a news release.
Rebecca Lynn ODonnell, 48, of Pocahontas is currently in custody. Criminal charges are pending. State police said they would not release additional details because the investigation is presently at a critical juncture and no further information will be released at this hour until authorities are confident it will not comprise the integrity of the criminal case.
In 2017, the Randolph County Republican Committee posted the below photo of ODonnell with a man who wrote on Facebook that he is in a relationship with the suspect. That man (far left in the picture) has also assisted the Collins-Smith campaign and was an avid supporter of Collins-Smith, according to social media posts by the man and Collins-Smith (because hes not accused in connection with the death in any way, Heavy is choosing to withhold his name.)

Not according to the post below.
This was on local news tonight. They aren’t saying much.
Looks like a Lesbian so far. She’s far to cozy in this picture.
That thought also occurred to me. Lets jusr wait and see what happens.
Political assaults and murders and the subsequent cover-ups, ya, we live in a Dem-Soc-Nazi world, again. all thats missing are the showtrials first. no conspiracies here, move along, your ‘law enforcement’ will solve it and report back to the people the truth/sarcasm major.
Sadly it appears that Law-Enforcement is actually behind these murders, like there is a Left-Wing death Squad operating in our country, you know, besides the baby/abortion Death Squads.
What? A murder in Arkansas? Who do they think they are, the Clintons? /sarc
or an affair with her b/f
Left wing hit group using the Arkansas State Police? Kill two republicans with one bullet. I wouldn’t doubt it. I like more info.
The photo of the two together rather suggests a lesbian affair.
It looks like just a regular photo. But then I see that is is used as the Facebook photo that identifies the person. So obviously they are in a close relationship.
My guess, this was about money issues...gone wrong...
That, in my experience, can drive some right-leaning women, over the edge...
(I.e. check fraud, embezzlement, credit card fraud..etc)
Seems unlikely, both of them are grandmas.
I thought they would pin this on the victims ex husband.
Political affiliations mean nothing if its Arkancide. The Clintons either met the killers price or found her/his Achilles Heel.
It always amazes me how reckless the Clintons are. It goes with their arrogance. With all of their resources, they could be using professional assassins who know what theyre doing with virtually no chance of ever being caught.
There goes that conspiracy theory - or does it?
