Realize this, as communication by THE PRESIDENT OF THE USA...that is an incredibly powerful accusation. If this isn’t serious, then our POTUS is a Nutter.

Exactly. This is NEWS because its not Hannity or Rush or some TV pundit saying it. Its POTUS saying it. That qualifies as a BOOM I think.
That is my thought. If this wasn’t true (and he didn’t have concrete evidence) he would not have tweeted this statement. The question is when is this all going to come out, is it going to hit the fan all at once, and are people going to be prosecuted? Also one has to imagine how some people in this country are going to react. I am pretty sure there is going to be civil unrest, judging by past events that were not anywhere close to being on par if Bummer and hildebeast get sent to gitmo. I would imagine that the president would have to plan for this as well.
