The National Park Service (NPS) quietly removed a visitor center sign saying
the glaciers at Glacier National Park would disappear by 2020 due to climate change.
As it turns out, higher-than-average snowfall in recent years upended computer model projections
from the early 2000s that NPS based its claim glaciers will all be gone by the year 2020, federal officials said.

They should have just replaced the signs saying that the glaciers will be gone in another 12 years.

The way it work with those folks is climate change is supposed to be permanent - not constantly changing; it wouldn’t be climate change then, just climate changing kinda around, sorta.

Where did they hide the signs, you know they didn’t throw them away.
After the next drought they will pull them out again, the scam never dies.

Back in 1942, MGM released a TRAVELTALKS on Glacier and Waterton National Parks. It stated that the earth had been warming since the last Ice Age 12000 years ago, and “if there is NO CLIMATIC CHANGE, they will be gone in a thousand years.”
And what’s 925 years in geological time.

Chet Huntley? I remember the Huntley-Brinkley report. We seldoml know the ages of our fellow freepers, so I wonder how many others remember the Huntley-Brinkley report on NBC.

Does that include the hymalayas too? Darn . Settled science wrong again. It is time to remove the real problems with “science”.. money.
If anyone has pucs of those park signs, i am using them in my class... along w the hymalayas melting article.

As it turns out, higher-than-average snowfall in recent years... Funny thing about averages...
Maybe the "experts" expected consistently lower than average snowfall for the next ten years?

They should have just replaced the signs saying that the glaciers will be gone in another 12 years. By not doing so, they're disrespecting A-O-C!
