the EC votes are based on the vote of the country at large, not any individual states...if the pubs could win a popular vote, no one on this forum would be saying boo about this...

By saying "other states" I obviously meant the country at large, not some specific state. And, no, we would NOT support this idea if we thought it worked to our temporary advantage. It violates our constitutional structure. You're either a troll, aren't very bright, or both.

The EC votes are based on each individual state, not the votes of all states.
The state’s elect the president, not the popular vote.
