I can’t wait for 2020, when Trump wins the popular vote and all these blue states suddenly realize what a foolish thing they are doing.
Maine and Nebraska do it far more intelligently and fairly, reflecting the votes of their constituents by congressional district.
In Alabama it is a republican lock so I never had a motivation to vote. If my vote can help sway Oregon to Trump, I’m all in.

This is why DNC/Soros funded shadow groups have been organizing mass migrations into our country. They’ll also have the vote harvesting and illegal voting systems running like a well oiled machine in 2020, and will be well protected by the BoE and AG of each of those same states.
The disenfranchisement of you citizen voters is going all according to plan.
Republicans should leave the blue states since their votes do not count no matter what happens with this
Bush vs Gore will look like a lovers spat.
Someone needs to sue the 15 states that is bypassing the Constitution! This is unconstitutional...
I’m no lawyer, but it seems unconstitutional to me to award a state’s electoral college votes to a candidate based on the votes of OTHER states. Isn’t that disenfranchising voters on a massive scale?
Even if a state passes this law, and their governor signs it, it doesn’t affect how their electoral votes are distributed. The laws only go into effect if enough states pass them that they would have had an electoral majority any way.
The NPVIC is nothing more than a huge scam. Let’s be clear: The only states that have passed such laws so are are states that have had Democratic majorities in both their legislature branches and the governor’s office. So if the country is at a point where enough states have signed on to reach 270 EV’s, then the country is well beyond screwed by that point anyway.
In any case, I wrote about a particular scenario where someone like Trump wins the popular vote but loses the electoral college. Let’s say California voted overwhelmingly for the communist psycho, aka the Democrat, but because of the Compact, they have to tell their electors to vote for the Republican.
Do you REALLY think that the state would not renege on the Compact? I’m sure they could find teems of lawyers who would instantly take it to court to allow California to renege on their end of the Compact, thus allowing the Democrat to win.
Here is the article written two and a half years ago that’s pertinent today: http://bit.ly/NPVIC_backstab
Every compact state should have all of its electoral votes nullified for attempting to unconstitutionally disenfranchise its own voters.
This bill essentially eliminates Oregon citizens votes. Because however they vote their votes go to the national popular vote winner. In other words if every Oregonian voted Democrat and the Republican won the popular vote their electoral votes would go to the Republican.
Better watch what they wish for - Trump vs. Bernie in 2020 could be a blowout and they might end up giving all their votes to the hated Donald.....
Alyssa Keny-Guyser is clearly retarded.
Idiot. Nobody will visit Oregon when they can attract the same votes in Seattle, Los Angeles or San Francisco.
The bedwetters claim the Electoral College is unfair, simply because their candidate lost. If they want to replace it, I prefer “one county, one vote”. That’s exceedingly fair.
Lemme guess, 2 out of 3 voting machine votes for Trump will flip to demonrat and 99.999% of absentee votes will be counted to demonrat and all the military votes will be lost.
This BS needs to go to the supreme court now. How does that happen? Does a person in that State have to file to have standing?
This ridiculous “compact” will not go into effect unless they have a total of states with at least 270 electoral votes.
They’re at about 180 - 190 and are not expected to reach 270 by November 2020.
