I’m sure HE would prefer that this was his “final statement” and that the report could stand as “his testimony”, but that’s not the way it works.

Actually, the source is the Congressional GOP. Had they supported POTUS removing Rosenstein and Mueller for illegal conflicts the Mueller Coup never would have happened.
