Like all self employed entrepreneurs, he takes on the all the risks himself. He doesn’t even get workers’ compensation for work related injuries.

Hmmmm. . . There’s an opportunity for some unscrupulous progressive insurance company. Criminal Insurance. . . Insure them against hazards of their profession. Death, business failure, accident, public liability, medical, disability, theft continuation in case they are unable to rob, steal, or otherwise unable to work, finger insurance for pickpockets, audit insurance for tax evaders, general arrest insurance, Bail insurance, etc. I see a very lucrative market. Maybe I should patent the idea?
