The German government’s anti-Semitism commissioner has warned Jews not to wear kippahs in public spaces, saying he had changed his mind on the matter due to a recent rise anti-Semitic crimes in the country.
“I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend that Jews wear the kippah everywhere in Germany,” Felix Klein said in comments carried by Funke media group newspapers on Saturday. […]
Klein said that 90 percent of people who commit anti-Semitic crimes in Germany were right-wing extremists, while a much smaller number are Muslims “who watch Arabic television channels that convey a terrible image of Israel and Jews.”

There used to be a problem with native Jew hatred in Germany, but it was a left-wing ideology, though anti-Communist. There were a lot of factions on the left.

“right wing extremist” is surprising, though possible I suppose. There are some right wing bigots.
However, MOST of the worst Anti-Semitism has come from the left-wing, such as National Socialist Nazis and Communists and “progressives” and other leftists.

All of the antisemitism comes from the left. There is no “right wing” in Europe as it’s understood here; just varying degrees of socialism.
And it’s not possible to be on the right (in the USA) and be a bigot.
